The IILM Graduate School of Management, Greater Noida, is a well-established institution, which focuses on nurturing interpersonal skills and business acumen of individuals through a strong knowledge sharing base and learning environment. The institute is located in the heart of Greater Noida, which is one of the most thriving business centers and a hub for trade and commerce. It boasts of a 20-year-old legacy and is part of the Anil Kulwant Raii Group, which manages four institutions in Delhi, NCR. IILM GSM offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), a full-time two-year program.

IILM places great emphasis on the personal development and employability skills of its students. The institute has about 100 hours of employability workshops. Effective mentoring of the students on personal growth is done regularly by the faculty. Each faculty is assigned six students whom they work with throughout the journey at IILM ensuring their personal and professional development. Another factor which sets the institute apart from others is that the faculty actively interacts with the recruiters to check on industry demands and requirements. Each faculty is in touch with 10 recruiters as faculty coordinators. The interaction with the recruiters is continuous, during, before and after placements. The curriculum at IILM is globally benchmarked and the style and approach of teaching varies from the traditional way. Students are taught to understand a subject from different perspectives. For example, a subject like Finance, students will be taught one course which will be from an investor’s perspective, apart from that, it will be taught from an internal perspective of managing and sourcing funds. So both external and internal organizational perspectives are addressed which help students to integrate the functional concept.

The pedagogy also emphasizes on learning by doing, therefore students go through 6 weeks of live projects in addition to summer internship. It is heavily based on simulation, case study and storytelling. Great emphasis is laid on the thought that the faculty just does not teach by lecturing but also inspires students to learn on their own. Students are also involved in institutional processes like making the timetable, library management, hostel, cafeteria management etc. This gives them an opportunity to learn and experience managerial responsibilities.

For students to have a global perspective, IILM also has a strong global immersion program in collaboration with 16 foreign universities across the world. About 25 per cent of students are sent on an all-expenses paid scholarship to do a term abroad. It also has an arrangement with AIESEC, an international student exchange body facilitating internship opportunities for Indian students and vice versa.

IILM is the only institute from India to be a Champion of “Principles of Responsible Management Education” (PRME), which is part of a program called ‘Global Compact’ by The United Nations. This initiative tries to orient management education towards responsible management to create tomorrow’s business leaders who focus not on profit alone but also for societal benefit and sustainable development. This is also the guiding principle in IILM’s overall mission to create responsible managers through innovative and engaging management education.
