Rekha Menon

Rekha M. Menon is a results-oriented leader renowned for her transformative leadership, adept at steering sustainable growth while upholding corporate responsibility across global markets. With a track record of pioneering innovation in technology and driving socioeconomic advancement, Rekha has been instrumental in Accenture's success for nearly two decades, including over seven years as Chair of Accenture in India.

Breaking barriers, Rekha made history as the first woman to assume the role of Chair at NASSCOM, India's premier technology association. A staunch advocate for equality, Rekha's unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community has cemented her reputation as a leading ally on a global scale. She will share her worldly wisdom, only at People Matters TechHR India

Dr Arokiaswamy Velumani 

The creator and founder of health care and diagnostic lab Thyrocare, Dr Arokiaswamy Velumani has been one of the pathfinders in the entrepreneurial way of business. He started his career as a scientist at BARC, a job he found after getting rejected by 50 companies for being a fresher. This experience forged his intensity to succeed along with a promise, which he kept by hiring freshers for the next 25 years after founding Thyrocare in 1995. His wife supported him from the get-go, even resigning from her job to become the first employee of the company.

Velumani’s ethos combined with business acumen enabled him to make Thyrocare a brand in India. In 2016, it was listed in NSE and Thyrocare touched a USD Billion evaluation by the time Velumani chose to retire from the company. At People Matters TechHR India, Velumani will share his experience on his entrepreneurship, perseverance and leadership.

Chandubhai Virani 

As the CEO of Balaji Wafers, Chandubhai Virani has built an empire worth crores starting from scratch. He was born into a family of farmers in Gujarat and faced hardships to make ends meet. Amidst the collapse of their family business, Chandubhai took a gamble by venturing into food space with his wafers as the offering. His gamble paid off handsomely as Balaji Wafers became one of the renowned food brands in almost every Indian household. 

Chandubhai’s risk analysis, penchant for identifying niche market demands and perseverance have contributed to the vast success of Balaji Wafers. He has also been felicitated with many awards including the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award 2017. 

Deep Bajaj 

As the founder of Sirona Hygiene, Deep Bajaj has been working to solve the ‘unaddressed’ intimate and menstrual hygiene issues faced by women in society.  An entrepreneur by heart, Bajaj has made his presence felt on TEDx, talking about solving women's health issues through his FemTech brand. He garnered over 190K views on his TEDx talk titled "Why can’t she pee and stand up?”. He has won multiple awards including ‘Fortune 40 Under 40’, Social Entrepreneur of the World, 'PhD Chamber of Commerce ‘Excellence Award for Start-up’ and more. 

Bajaj credits his Sirona team for the success, believing that ‘one can’t do anything in life without a great team’. He will bring his worldly insights along with the wisdom of developing diverse talent and leading teams effectively, only at People Matters TechHR India.   

Dr. Ashok Tyagi

An industry veteran, Dr. A.K Tyagi has been leading the Haldiram Group since 2006 in the capacity of the Executive Director. He is in charge of the entire company, including production, sales, marketing, research and development, product innovation, finance, diversification, and expansion. 

Dr. Tyagi began his career with Wimpy International. Later, he joined Uncle Chipps in 1988 and led the company in various roles including CEO and President till the year 2000. He has been felicitated with the ‘Food Industry Icon Lifetime Achievement Award’ in India Food Forum and the ‘CEO of the Year Award’ from India Food Safety Summit. He believes that analysing competition and self-learning is crucial for leadership and organisational success. 

Sandeep Goel 

“Whatever gets measured, gets improved” is the mantra that Sandeep Goel, MD of Moglix,  believes in and this leadership mantra has boded well with over twenty-one years of experience in setting up, managing, acquiring and integrating businesses. He has led from the front in diverse industry verticals like investment banking, FMCG, CPG and process manufacturing. 

Goel is passionate about sharing his learning with the broader community of people through teaching. An avid reader and glove-trotter, he is the master of a proprietary teaching technique named “AnaLogica”, which leverages a combination of analogy and logic for effective learning. Sanjay Mohan

An industry veteran in platform engineering, product management and product strategy, MakeMyTrip’s Sanjay Mohan has been a driving force in the company’s continued success.  As the Group Chief Technology Officer, he has ushered the company to new heights in the travel space with his planning of technological innovations. His previous stints include working in marquee companies like Yahoo, IBM, Oracle and Netscape. 

Mohan believes in achieving execution excellence through persistent simplification of intricate challenges and interactions and prioritising investment in people as the primary competitive advantage. With this ethos, he will share his expertise with budding professionals, only at People Matters TechHR India.

Neetan Chopra 

Neetan Chopra believes in “being digital” rather than “doing digital”. As the Chief Digital & Information Officer at Indigo, Chopra is aptly tasked with delivering business value and transformation using technology and innovation. He balances work duties while being a guest lecturer at INSEAD Business School in Dubai, Carnegie Mellon University in Silicon Valley, visiting MBA students of Villanova University, USA, IIT Mumbai entrepreneurship summit, and Adjunct Professor at Botho University, Africa.

Chopra is a strong advocate of transforming from ownership to managed services and pay-as-you-go operating models, especially for commoditized business services. He has also hosted a TEDx talk titled ‘Neural incumbents...Distributed horizons’ on the character of enterprises in the digital era and beyond. He will bring his wisdom and astute passion to arouse curiosity in your HR leaders, only at People Matters TechHR India.
