ITC Hotels appoints new VP, Talent Management

ITC Hotels has appointed Nilesh Mitra as the new Vice President, Talent Management in the Human Resource function. He is an accomplished Human Resource professional with 25+ years of work experience — all of it in the Hotel industry. 

In his new role, Nilesh will be responsible for Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance & Career Management and Workforce Productivity reporting to Sanjay Bose, HR Head for Hotels Division of ITC.

After spending his initial few years with the Taj Group of Hotels, he moved to Radisson Hotels where he spent 17 years. At the time of leaving Radisson Hotels, Nilesh was the Senior Director of Human Resources — South Asia heading HR operations of over 100 hotels of Radisson in India. After leaving Radisson, he has pursued his passion of setting up an NGO, moved briefly to Scotland to oversee the global HR operations of a hotel chain and has also done independent consulting in HR. 

Nilesh pursued his Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, New Delhi in 1992. Later, he completed his Masters in Business Administration from SMU, India followed by an Advanced Program on Strategic Management from IIM Indore. He has also completed the General Management Accreditation Program at Minneapolis and Omaha, USA. Nilesh started in Food & Beverage Service and then moved to Learning and Development during the early years of his career.
